PrimaryITO Skills Days are practical events that test our trainees’ practical farming skills; they give trainees the opportunity to learn new skills and compete for local awards.

We encourage our trainees to have a go, meet other local farmers and challenge themselves.

Skills Days modules have included challenges in the following areas:

• Dairy hygiene

• First aid

• ATVs

• Tractors

• Chainsaws

• Veterinary

• and more!

Skills Days are held annually throughout the country. The events are organised by PrimaryITO’s Regional Committees and in some areas in conjunction with local Young Farmers Clubs.  Skills Days winners are recognised at our regional AgriAwards.
