
Taratahi Agricultural Training Centre is New Zealand’s largest agricultural training centre offering a variety of full-time and part-time educational programmes. It has been successfully preparing Kiwis for careers in agriculture since 1919.
Taratahi offers secondary and tertiary education options: full-time courses, diploma programmes, short courses, extra mural study, STAR and Primary Industries Trades Academy. Programmes at Taratahi allow students to choose from a range of farming operations, levels and campuses.
Using the skills and knowledge gained at Taratahi, graduates have the opportunity to move into a rich and rewarding career in one of the world’s leading agricultural industries.
Among Taratahi’s resources are a wide range of commercial farms, allowing students to gain real life experience under the direction of a respected team of staff. These carefully selected tutors are not only passionate about teaching, they are also dedicated to farming and agriculture.
Taratahi has a fully residential campus in the Wairarapa with other non-residential campuses throughout the North Island.
