MPI/GrowingNZ Sustainability YES awards
GrowingNZ Teachers' Day Out is a professional development day for teachers, careers advisors, and transition educators. The day gives you an opportunity to take a closer look at your local food & fibre sectors and the diverse range of roles and career pathways available to your students.
This is a FREE event hosted at different locations throughout the country.
Year 10 students studying science, technology or commerce are challenged to create solutions for real-world situations in our innovative food & fibre sectors. Working in teams of four with industry experts on hand to give advice, students plan and create a prototype which is judged by a panel of experts.
Be part of the MPI/GrowingNZ Sustainability YES awards – food and fibre for the future.
This prestigious award sponsored by MPI is for senior students competing in the Young Enterprise Scheme (YES). With a focus on sustainability, it encourages students to use their business and entrepreneurial skills within our innovative primary sectors.
GrowingNZ Spotlight20 connects teachers and students with young professionals from the food & fibre sectors – live and online. During the 20 minute session, our enthusiastic young professionals chat about the sector they work in, share their career stories and answer questions. This is a fantastic opportunity for your students to hear first-hand about opportunities in the food & fibre sectors.
