This document summarises data on primary industry related qualification completions. The analysis considers trends in the completions of tertiary training programmes that relate directly to the primary industries. While this will supply a large proportion of the ’flow’ of training into primary sector workforces, it does not provide all that flow. Many individuals will obtain general qualifications, an/or vocational qualifications relating to other industries, before starting work in the primary sector, and likewise, many that gain primary industry specific qualifications do not go on to work in that industy. The analysis covers tertiary training at all levels (NQF levels 1 to 10).
